Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 October 2026
The agreement between you and PageKo, in plain words.
- The preview is free. You only pay if you decide to go live.
- Monthly or yearly subscription. No setup fee. Yearly is billed at 10 months' price.
- Prices exclude taxes such as GST, which are added at checkout. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record.
- Cancel any time. Your site stays live until the end of the period you paid for.
- Your domain stays in your name, and your content stays yours.
1. Who we are
PageKo is operated by Partha Borthakur, Guwahati, Assam, India. In these terms, "PageKo", "we" and "us" mean the operator of PageKo. "You" means the person or organisation using our website or services. You can reach us at hello@pageko.com.
2. What we do
We design, build, host and look after websites for nonprofits, schools, dental clinics and other small organisations, for a monthly or yearly subscription. What each plan includes (pages, content updates, support and so on) is listed on our pricing page.
3. The free preview
- We can build a preview of your new website before you pay anything. The preview is free and there is no obligation to buy.
- We build it from the content you send us or that is already public on your current website. The preview is shared with you through a private link and is not published on your domain.
- If you decide not to go ahead, that is fine. We take the preview down and delete the content you sent us, usually within 30 days. We won't keep chasing you.
4. Plans, prices and payment
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance. Yearly plans are billed at 10 months' price.
- There is no setup fee.
- Prices on our website exclude taxes. Applicable taxes, such as GST in India, are added at checkout.
- Organisations in India are billed in Indian rupees. Everyone else is billed in US dollars.
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Dodo Payments sells the subscription to you, charges you, collects and pays the tax, and issues your invoice. Dodo Payments' own terms also apply to the payment.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- If we ever change our prices, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. You can cancel before then.
5. Changing plans
You can change plans at any time. Upgrades apply straight away. Downgrades apply from your next billing date.
6. Nonprofit discount
Registered nonprofits get 30% off any plan, monthly or yearly. We will ask for your registration details before applying it. If an organisation turns out not to be eligible, we can remove the discount from the next billing period after telling you.
7. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@pageko.com or through the customer portal link in your Dodo Payments receipt. There is no cancellation fee and no long-term contract.
- After you cancel, nothing more is charged. Your site stays live until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We will hand over your text and images on request.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Your domain and your content
- Your domain stays in your name. If we help you connect it, we only change the settings needed to point it at your website. We never transfer it to ourselves.
- Your text, photos, logos and other materials stay yours. You give us permission to use them to build, host and update your website.
- The design, templates and code we create remain ours. You may use them on your website for as long as your subscription is active.
9. What we ask of you
- Only send us content you have the right to use, and that is lawful and accurate.
- Keep your contact and billing details up to date, so we can reach you about your site.
- Tell us about changes in time. Content updates are included up to your plan's limit, and the "unlimited small updates" on Pro are subject to fair use.
We can refuse to publish content that is unlawful, misleading or harmful.
10. Missed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Dodo Payments will retry it and we will contact you. If it stays unpaid for more than 14 days, we may take the site offline until the payment is made. Your domain and content stay yours either way.
11. Availability and backups
We take care to keep your website online, secure and backed up, and we fix problems as quickly as we reasonably can. We rely on third-party hosting and networks, so we can't promise that a website will never be unavailable.
12. Liability
We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost donations, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the issue. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, or any rights you have as a consumer.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and, if a change matters to active customers, email you before it takes effect.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a problem comes up, please email us first and we will try to sort it out. If we can't, the courts at Guwahati, Assam have jurisdiction.
